I was going to transport a sold heavy item to UPS to ship it to the buyer. Unfortunately It fall down while I was taking it out of my truck and got damaged. its not safe to operate it any more. How can I notify eBay of this mishap and the reason that...

I am not able to ship the sold Item to the buyer. It got damaged while I was handling it and taking it to UPS Store. it is not safe to used it. How can I notify this mishap to eBay so the buyer can get back his / her deposit back??
