What happens if you purchase the optional Authenticity Guarantee for $40 and it is not Authentic? Do you get the $40 fee back?

Hello, I am purchasing an item. What if it arrives and its counterfeit? Am I able to get my money back? Am I protected through ebay? Its not under "Authenticity Guarantee" and the seller does not accept returns
