awesome enough to see it was an obvious scam and get me out of it no

The buyer never collected the return label (as they could not, being out
of the country). Everything resolved fine because of this.. so in this
scenario I guess the CS was right to just go through the motions and let
the timer run out.
I hit accept return on may 28th it is now June 7th and they have not
updated me with tracking, how long until I can just have ebay close the
case in my favor? I have read things online that say they only have a
certain number of days to supply proof ...
I accepted the return/paid for the label (it was 22$) as those were my
options presented to me by the chat agent at the time. I am still
waiting on that phone call from a supervisor. I might try to call again
in the morning and see if I can catch a C...
