I am new to Ebay as a seller, and I have just come to realize that Ebay
charges their commission on the total sale which includes the shipping
fee and the sales tax. That doesn't seem right. OK shipping... maybe but

I understand that but I am referring to Ebay's fees for the overall
sale. They charge their fee on the total amount that includes shipping
and sales tax. How can Ebay charge me (the seller) a commission on the
sales tax?
