I understand that you do not have to pay taxes on items you have sold for less than you paid , do I want to back and look and items I have bought more than 3 years ago , to see how much I paid and to see if I sold for less , for upcoming tax purposes...

I bought a pre order for an action figure, I pd in April , now the figures is being shipped out , went back to purchase and the item gas ended ??? And will not let me collect the seller ???
