impossible to combine shipping with instant pay

I just won three items in three ads from one seller and he states in each ad that he combines shipping. Now ebay comes along with some sort of auto pay which does not allow requesting a total for combined shipping. THIS MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO STAND !...
