Barnes and Noble has a coffee shop in their store for customers to relax
and talk between shopping. I see the chat boards as much the same thing.
Even McDonald's has their regulars who sit and talk long after they've
finished their meal.
There must've been times when you really enjoyed it fruitlogger? Making
a living off the land. Living the dream. One of those things people
dream of, thinking the grass must be greener on that other side.
I'm afraid we might be married to the same man. He wants to retire but
he can't give up that nasty habit of spending money so we can live on a
retirement income. Customer service is never fun. My new daughter-in-law
is in human resources for a chicke...
You should stop by the Soapbox dsm. Oldbear was right. It's not so bad
and you'd be surprised how many names from Town Square post over there.
Including some that I should probably stay away from. They are as far
from center America as it's possible ...
