So....yet another rant on the new payments system ebay and forced upon
us.... I sold an item last week for $800 + shipping.....I was told ebay
has upped their fees from 10% to 12.5%, but when all was said and done I
only got the shipping and $686.......
How many sellers out there have had the new eBay "scheme" shoved down
their throats? EBay says the new "scheme" is better for sellers but how
can that be? EBay cut PayPal out but then raised their own prices...
instead of getting paid instantly we no...
Hi, I do not see the option you are referring to....can you tell me
exactly where you are seeing that? when you say the shipping form....is
that in the auction or after the buyer has paid in the payments section?
I stand corrected....I did find a link that states it did change for all
online marketplaces...from $20,000 down to $600 as you stated , thank
you for that info...
So if its a goverment thing and not a paypal or ebay thing then it
should stay the same and not change correct? but you are saying it is
now $600? again it was $20,000 AND 200 transactions with
paypal...together those would trigger the 1099..trust me...
Thanks to everyone for the awesome input...it will not mean a thing to
ebay but it's good to hear it....one followup question I have is: Before
with paypal a seller could sell up to $20,000 + 200 transactions before
they got a 1099 from paypal.....no...
