Once I make a complaint about a seller can I retract it if we worked out the issue

How do I make sure my item is only taking bids from American buyers only

So I am returning an item, printed the label and shipped back today, I tried to upload the tracking and it keeps saying it’s invalid, I go to the usps site and put the same tracking and it’s fine.. what should I do?
