I actually forgot to ask my question. sigh... The back of my card got a
little bit of paint on it. Is it customary to mount the finished card so
that the original back doesn't show?

here. Well, I finally made my first Art Card. It was kind of fun and
somewhat addictive. Off to make another.

If you're doing art cards (or something else small), you might have
better luck flipping the (sized) card over (with tweezers) and placing
it on the gold leaf while it's still on the protective paper. This is
much easier than trying to lift the gold ...
