Auto Lower Price Change (every 5 days!) Good/Bad? Anybody have more sells with it?

Greetings! Not new to selling, but young! After making any change to a listing, eBay suggests auto lowering the price by percentage every 5 days till an ending price is reached. Is this a good selling tool? Is it a bad selling tool? Thanks!
