Update on this - I sent a message to the seller after their initial
response saying that I had video recorded the entire handoff at FedEx,
and to please take photos of the box so I could submit a fraud claim to
FedEx. I never heard back from them and...
Theoretically, could you video yourself putting the item as described
into a box at FedEx, seal it up, have an employee scan it in and verify
the weight and time stamp all in one continuous take?
Thanks to all for the suggestions. I will pursue some of these
suggestions, but it sounds like I'm most likely out of luck. It's really
frustrating that theft in eBay sales is so easy.
