Everytime I click on an item to look at it - it opens a new window? How do I stop my ebay page from opening new windows?

where do I find my items added to a 'Research List'

Sometimes I want to save a search under 'Research' instead of putting it on my 'Watchlist' where the seller thinks I am interested in purchasing. If I have the same item to sell, I like to add it to my 'Research List' but then I can't find that list?
