Thanks for that feedback in the real world. I was promoting because I
had other users with deep experience (in this forum) advise me the
opposite - claiming my listings will not even be found w/o promoting,
and this is how ebay makes money. I will he...
I have tried CL in the past and I find it increasingly ineffective
unless I have a geographically specific item I am targeting regionally.

Want? Look, its for sale to anyone. I'm using ebay as a way of getting
its availability out there to the masses- targeting the most likely
buyers of this unique item. I simply don't care who buys it.
It is not for local pickup only. I state delivery in the posting itself
as an option and for what price. I have now added delivery options as
