Is it possible to do a markdown on a variation of a product?

Hi! Thanks for reading. I'm trying to do some markdown on some products. Let's take a jacket. I have blue and black variations of this jacket, but I want to offer a discount on the blue one. Is it possible to do that? How? Thanks!
