Should i return an item (wrong model - not the one listed on ebay) to the seller before i receive the refund ??

I bought a radio and the seller sent me a different model and when i asked about it the seller said that its a later model and whether i want to keep it .. i said i want the one i bought first .. and after that he is not replying to me
