This problem is due to eBay's certificates failing OCSP verification.

yourself to turn OCSP back on later to ensure your HTTPS connections
maintain maximum security.
Completely removing and reinstalling Firefox may work temporarily until
the next time it checks OCSP. So, it's not the solution. You can turn
off OCSP until eBay fixes their end.
@hollowtreeetcI know, this is very bad for buyers. How hard is it to
fix? It depends what's wrong with the certificates and/or server
configuration. In the general world of IT problems, it's not difficult.
