This is a chronic problem that has received a lot of attention on ebay
boards, but ebay seems to be turning a blind eye. Don't ship via ESE
unless you're willing to risk having to give the seller a full refund
and eat the postage cost.
What insurance do you think you're getting with ESE? I've had ESE items
USPS fails to scan as delivered and ebay refunds the buyer from my
seller proceeds and doesn't refund what I paid ebay for shipping.
In my experience, ebay doesn't insure against non-delivery, only
delivery that is confirmed by the carrier but denied by the buyer. ebay
isn't going to help you when USPS tracking fails to confirm delivery.
