I agree .. it's absurd! I just got hit for the first time with a
required credit card to make a bid in an auction .. AND a few days ago I
also just had a non payer on one of my auctions .. BUT the problem here
is the absurdity of Ebay's solutions .. ...

I can report the issue still persists. As I originally reported "sell
similar" still a good work around, however only when you I use a very
old active listing. It will now NOT work as "sell similar" off of the
newly constructed one .. need to go back...
