how soon do I get a notice of payment when I sell an item

I got ebay notice item sold. but nothing further at 36 hours. Do they send a notice when buyer pays. I know they send notice when payment "clears" and Payout occurs.

Sold For price on the listing is different than Sale Price that buyer paid

And it says "you pay shipping" Ebay apparently doesn't keep record in messages or anywhere of "offers Sent to buyers" but I know that what I sent out didn't include shipping in the price, nor did my original listing. What am I missing? Also, says on ...
