eBay

So this is apparently not a new scam, but one I've just run into twice now in the last two weeks on Ebay (have been a consistent buyer for 20 years). In both cases, the sellers supposedly sent the items I ordered to me, but they were never delivered....

I'd been "watching" an item for about the last 12 hours of an auction and with about an hour left the "opening bid" price (with no bids) was $237. With about 10 minutes left in the auction, I then noticed that the starting bid price had gone up to $2...
