The shipping policy above is not the same as saying that ebay withholds further services until the sanctions are lifted....that would be the right thing to do. I am outraged that there is still ebay sales services to russia.
Russian people are not the government. Russian Youtuber/Streamers who are against the war cannot receive funds for their work. Russian people are actually really great people. I've been there, and met them. They are being punished, and it sucks.
We aren't talking about politics, we are talking about genocide. Maybe if the people in Russia start taking some pain they will do the right thing and stop the murdering.
Ebay follows the money, thereby the edicts of the .gov that it must in order to make the money. Ebay is not a champion of constitutional/human rights for Americans or free trade. Refer to their ever expanding list of forbidden products and the way they screw sellers and buyers alike on fees and restrictive rules that go against the free market. Why on earth would anyone think that a huge corporation would care about the fate of people on the other side of the globe who really don't effect the bottom line of the company $?
eBayers - Contact your eBay customer representative. Tell them you want eBay to stop doing business in Russia. If the fob you off, then inactivate your account until they change their mind.
I've called repeatedly, but Ebay doesn't agree; they claim the whole world can join. Yet, there are a few countries that are forbidden! So, why is Ebay doing business with Russia - that is un-american!
