Gun control

I  understand EBay is supporting gun control measures thus I will no longer buy or sell on this site in the future. I will also notify all my friends & family to do the same.

That's pretty silly.  Are you going to stop buying gas from the gas station who's owner supports gun control?  Fire your insurance agent because he supports gun control? Tell your daughter who married someone who supports gun control to get a divorce?

You have every right to cease doing business with a company whose principles do not reflect your own. 

• Some people choose not to shop at Hobby Lobby because of their unwillingness to provide insurance coverage for female employees' contraceptive prescriptions.
• Some people choose not to shop at Amazon because of their position against employee unions.
• Some people choose not to shop at Walmart because of their unwillingness to pay their employees minimum wage (by keeping everyone on a part-time status).
• Some people choose not to shop at local businesses that do not enforce mask mandates.
• Many people choose to boycott businesses whose politics disagree with theirs.

So this didn't start with you. The only difference may be, most people don't stand out on the sidewalk in front of the business--on property the business owns--and make a big announcement that they're not going to shop there anymore. They just go elsewhere.

I don't think OP is complaining about  ebay's "policies" on guns as much as ebay's "stance" on gun control.

Yeah--I had a lot of "grievances" to choose from for all of my examples. Tried to limit it just to one apiece for this thread--those lists could get pretty lengthy.

Personally I like Hobby Lobby and support them, so to each his/her own.
