Any plans for fighting tariffs?

These tariffs are going to impact all of us either directly or indirectly, I am curious if any sellers have a plan for fighting this problem outside of just surrendering & lowering your prices to ridiculous levels just to make a sale., It's going to be a tough road ahead, No Doubt!

If they indeed build new plants, They will be automated plants, Which in reality will bring very few new jobs, & these plants take time to build, they don't construct themselves overnight.

But someone has to make the robots and maintain the robots. More jobs.

Have you ever driven by a site constructing a "tilt up" concrete factory or warehouse? Seems they are done in a matter of weeks. In the meantime the eventual tenant is accumulating tools, equipment, etc so they are ready to move in and be going in only a few weeks after that. In the grand theme of things that is "overnight" in construction terms.

Don't change anything and look for buying opportunities.

Getting rid of the board of education.

Firing workers that watch over our nuclear arsenal.

I did my taxes the other day with H & R Block...in California.

With all the deductions...I manage to do a loss of $960.00...with the 1099K

Why...I asked what I can deduct and was granted :

Wifi plus equipment...total each month of my fee

iPhone(camera)...50 % of each month of phone monthly fee

Plus other deductions...of course.

And I have 'rent control with garage' in Pacific Heights.

For me its losing International Buyers...

Are you selling something just bought from like a Target or Walmart to re-sell to make a profit?

I am not talking about items out there already but new items where sellers try to re-sell.

'New' items just issued or everyday items will be hard to re-sell since buyers will be looking for bargains.

And I mention drop-shipping and 3rd party sellers...

I am not talking about full-time sellers who re-sell items which they get from maybe a yard sale or such.

It's more like of these sellers who think they can make a profit off of something that is still on sale in a store.

There are a lot of sellers who sell full-time here to make a living and do very well and will still do very well.

But there are those who might not unless they change their business plan.

That can be a risky proposition if the market turns around quickly. There will be buying opportunities (long term) and i would suggest looking for the higher value (best of best) items in categories you sell in. YMMV Find those deals and wait until the market is prime to sell them.

When there is fear, there is desperation. (Items being sold below market value) Buy Buy Buy

For me i look for vintage guitars in excellent condition with no modifications/repairs. I am trolling for the Holy Grails during these times. (deals)
