I'm hoping to find out if anyone else is having an issue with the 'customid' field, or if it's working fine for others here? We use the 'customid' field in our API calls to help keep track user activity. Lately though we've noticed a significant number of transactions being reported where the customid field is blank. I can see where previously it was probably less than 1% of all transactions, but starting around April 3rd we're seeing a huge increase and probably 50% of our transactions are missing the customid field now. I can see this at partner.ebay.com under the Reports -> Transaction Detail page, and also when fetching this same data from the Mediapartners API.
We didn't push out any releases that week and can't seem to find any links that are missing the customid field after a thorough search, so I'm wondering if the issue might be on eBay's side. The only clue or consistent thing I see is that the 'TrafficType' field for all of these transactions is 'Phone' so it doesn't seem to be affecting desktop users. Beyond that I can't seem to find much of anything else that's been helpful to debug, so I was hoping to see if anyone else could confirm whether theirs has been working properly the last couple of weeks?

I am getting the same. Around a third of my transactions are missing the customid from the Transaction Detail page. Nice to know its not just me !! I cant find any obvious difference between those with and those without it so was starting to look online to see if I am alone. Of course my default is to assume its something I have done wrong, even though I haven't done any coding on the sites for a while.
I have it happening across multiple campaigns and multiple countries. Seems to have been happening for a few weeks now. My first one seems to be 2025-04-03 12:24:55
The only thing I can imagine is either an eBay issue or possibly a browser update that means some people are stripping certain parameters to avoid tracking. I am going to send a message to EPN support.

I noticed in my EPN logs here that it only seems to apply to mobile devices, and I *think* I've tracked it down to iOS and some of their recent privacy changes. I'm not an iOS user though and haven't been able to reproduce it on my testing iPhone, so I haven't figured out a resolution yet.

Well spotted surgewares, I am seeing the same. Well, phone and tablet only but no desktops.
They obviously allow the other parameters through or they wouldn't track at all.
