Share Stories of How You Successfully Joined Developer Program?

Hi all,

There's already plenty of posts about people not being able to join the developer program.

Can anyone who has access to the developer API's chime in on how they successfully managed to join? Did you have to reach out to a secret agent or meet in a dark basement somewhere? I'd be curious to hear the stories from other developers of how they got it, was it straightforward, was it easier back then whenever you joined?

If I've gone through that and receive a generic rejection, and also sent in a rejection feedback form, can I get in touch with someone to prove my business' volume and engineering team's capability?
