I have 2 posts and 1 reply to another post, but only 1 post shows up for me (the numbers are correctly reflected in my profile).
I got a message claiming I received a reply to something, but it is not visible anywhere that I can see.
Is there some sort of flag preventing posts from being visible? Or some sort of federation / configuration issue somewhere?..

I can see on your profile that 5 posts have been counted, but only three appear (this one and one technical post and one answer). So there is a missing post and a missing response in your profile.
They were possibly removed (or possibly lost in a forum update).
Community guidelines are here:
https://community.ebay.com/t5/About-the-Community/bd-p/Community-Guidelines
For site conduct, if a post contains a link to another site, with absolutely no description or explanation of what is on that site, it will be removed by the moderators (who are employees of the platform - not eBay staff) as spam. Shortened bit.ly type links are also frowned upon by most users. Contact info is not allowed.
Other than that, welcome to the community that we now share, and thank you for your contributions.

happened again, this time I tried to repost and it gave an error message saying my post was marked as spam and to submit a request if it is not spam. I think it is likely due to pre-formatted code, and references to uris and or documentation links in the missing posts...

Kind of makes things difficult if you are trying to discuss developer topics

Go ahead and "submit a request" if you can. I'm not sure where that request goes.
The needs of Developers are new to this forum, and it may take some time to work out the kinks.
I'll see if I can find someone to look into this.

Thanks. I waited a week on those 2 missing originals that disappeared and they never came back. Since it was doing the same thing and only about 2/3rds of the posts I was making were showing up last night, I force reposted a few. The missing third never showed up after a few hours, but noticed today all my posts from yesterday are now pushed through (with several duplicates). Oh well.

If you wish, you can go through your duplicate posts and remove the ones you don't want repeated.
At the top right of each post is a pulldown [v] inverted caret. At the bottom of the list is "Report inappropriate content". Let the moderators know that your post is a duplicate and you would like it removed.

Ha.. Yeah.. it would be nice to remove a few of those unsightly duplicates.. But with the unknown automated stuff under the hood causing issues in the first place, I would be afraid that would result in my posts / account having even more flags against it to cause further posting issues.. lol..
