How to add auth scope `https://api.ebay.com/oauth/api_scope/buy.offer.auction` to an existing app?

Hi Developer Community,

I have an existing application with its own keyset, and I’d like to add the https://api.ebay.com/oauth/api_scope/buy.offer.auction scope to the OAuth configuration.

Currently, the OAuth scopes for my application were predefined, but I need to update them to request access for the Buy API, specifically to use the placeProxyBid endpoint: https://developer.ebay.com/api-docs/buy/offer/resources/bidding/methods/placeProxyBid

Any guidance on the necessary steps and who I could speak to would be greatly appreciated. I haven't found a relevant article in developer forums. Thank you in advance!

Buy Offer API  is a (Limited Release) API available only to select developers approved by business units. For information on how to obtain access to this API in production, see the Production access process.
