Croton 1878 chronometer wristwatch black & white face Please help ID

Serial number on reverse is 108A  41750

Case is Stainless and watch is water and shock resistant.

I cannot find anything on web pertaining to the above serial number?   

Back is on far to tight for me to open it.  My research leads me to believe it may have a Valijoux 72 movement.

This is possibly a Croton Daytona. A very valuable watch. See Ebay auction 253643591023 or just search Ebay for Croton chronograph watch. You would need to open the watch to see what movement it has. The condition is not great and you don't mention a box or papers. This will affect the value.

...anychance you can help me idntify the parts pictured below?  Placed a few coins so you can see relative size.  Most seem bronze, however, a few look to be copper and gold.   Maybe from the inside/outside of an old mantle clock?  PLMK

My gut feeling is that these went on the outside of a mantle clock.  Would you agree?  This photo is much better quality...
