repairing Tiny Tears cardboard case

not sure if posting in best location- please LMK if someone else I should post (looked for paper ephemera but couldn't find that category/location)

I have an 1950's Tiny Tears doll in her original suitcase.  The suitcase could use a little repair / re-gluing on a couple of the edges that have spread a little.  My inclination would be some Elmer's glue and good clamping; but before I went ahead, thought I should reach out and see what suggestions/recommendations you all had, thinking a bit of the conservation aspect as well as functionality

repairing Tiny Tears cardboard case

It's over 50 years old.  Repair it and disclose the repair in your listing.

Or don't repair it and disclose the condition in your listing.

Personally, as a buyer, I would not expect a cardboard doll suitcase that's half a century old to be in mint condition.
