Hi,
My mom used to work for Mattel and had lots of Barbies in her collection. I always remember her having displayed this Barbie Golden Statue along with her other porcelain dolls (pictures below), but I cannot seem to find any information about it online. I wondered if anyone can help in identifying this statue - was it an employee exclusive, perhaps a gift at some corporate event, or an actual doll that was sold to the public? It looks like an academy award or emmy and is actually very heavy. Thanks!!

The Golden Barbie statue you have was included in a Fashion Gift Set. Hope that helps.

It appears to be a Barbie sized statue, not the little statue toys that were in those Academy Awards fashion sets.

Hi,
Yes, this a barbie sized statue made by Mattel in 1998. It's full size. I'm just hoping to find some clue as to what this doll statue was made for or what it was called. Thanks for responding!
