Collectible Lionel Train Clock with hourly chimes

I received a new-in-box Lionel Train Clock that should chime on the hour. The chimes are not working with all the batteries installed. Has anyone had this concern and can it be fixed?  Thank you.

This is not eBay customer service, we are other buyers and sellers that volunteer our time to help. 

If it does not work as advertised, you need to open a not as described return if it has been less than 30 days past date you received it. This can be done by opening your purchase history and opening the More Actions dropdown, return, reason not as described or not working. 

It is automated so there is no need to contact the seller.

eBay was not the seller just the platform the seller used, like placing an ad in the newspaper.

I had a bird click like that. The time function had its own battery compartment. 

The bird chirping was another battery compartment, and it could be turned off, as well.

Please refer to any NIB instruction manual that was enclosed in this item.

Frequently, for special feature functions to work in battery operated clocks, the clock needs to be prepared/set-up/positioned in a specific manner prior to the installation of batteries (i.e.. clock hands set at "xyz" time, then install batteries, then manually turn clock hands "abc" direction prior to setting accurate time, etc.) Find the manual and follow directions precisely prior to presuming a defect.

Just a thought.

BUT... I would probably return it, it's covered. You didn't pay for a non-functioning clock.
