Bone and Ebony Dominoes with 3 Pins

Hi. Have a set of 27 antique dominoes with 3 brass pins. All of the sets I've seen have just one or 2 pins. Can anyone tell me about these dominoes with 3 pins?

Bone and Ebony Dominoes with 3 Pins

@kickboxingbabe71,

I never really learned to play dominoes, but do remember that tile with a central brass pin/rivet was called a spinner. It could be played off of from any direction.  I believe those were usually a double number. One came with each set.

The smaller pins/rivets are probably used to fasten the "bone" material to the wood bottom of the piece.  That material could be made of Ivory or Bone, if they are old enough.  Hope this helps.
