Hi...This 12" male doll was in a case with other Barbie Dolls. I can't find a male doll that looks like him. Perhaps it is a "married" doll? He has hands that rotate at the wrists and one hand reminds me of a GI Joe Kung Fu grip hand. It looks like it held something round. The doll is marked Mattel Taiwan INC 1966 or 1968 on the back of the briefs. His head rotates and he rotates at the waist. Who is he and what set does he belong to?

I think he's a Franken-Ken. Most likely a Horse Lovin' Ken head

on a Sport & Shave Ken body

I think it might be "Cowboy Ken".

It looks like the "Bendable Ben" I had as a kid. Do his arms bend to make muscles? If so, that's the one I had. He was Ken's friend, and came with little hand held weights. Now there is a possibility that I renamed him Ben instead of Ken, but I wasn't very original in my doll naming, and pretty much stuck with what they came with. (Thus, forever toting around "Amelia Fanny", the Cabbage Patch doll...) That was in the mid 80's. Hope that helps!
