(When "This Old House" was first aired, Bob Villa had a go-round with an ancient building inspector who tore the place apart. All he said throughout the segment was "It's shot....it's all shot". By the time he was done, Bob would have been better off torching the house & starting from scratch.)

It's one of our favorite sayings evertime we need to repair something on the farm.

As I'm getting older, it fits for me as well.

(My dentist dropped a permanent crown down my throat, a couple of years ago  - when he was trying to attach it to my tooth).

(No, I swallowed it.  LOL   The look on his face - priceless.  Won't go into detail, but I earned a free "New" crown after that, and a $50 gift card to Costco for my inconvenience.   I kid you not.  )
