Anybody know what is going on with above seller.I bought US$2000 from him late last year on a private sale & nothing has arrived,I seem to be getting the run around from the people there & just noticed he has 6 negative feedbacks in last month after only 4 in the last 14 years.Has his site been hijacked by scammers.
Thanks in advance
Mike

Definitely rings a bell, but I don't recall details. I expect others will remember and may come along to comment?

To be fair, that's all I can see online.

My experience is that large lots bought from Roecy are what are termed "floor sweepings" and in their case the term may well be literal. I was looking for some US 20th Century cancels and bought a large lot from them, and when it arrived the covers were stained, musty and mildewed. The scarce items I needed were there and in good shape so I did not return the lot, but I did make clear to the seller that the condition of the items ranged from tolerable to complete garbage. He expressed the kind of surprise that suggested he knew all along what he was doing.
IMO Roecy caters to bottom feeders, and whenever he promises valuable material to a client he is in over his head and when he can't deliver dithers and stalls rather than makes prompt refunds.
Caveat emptor.

I am glad I saw this tag. I was in the process of bidding on one of his auctions when I noticed it. I went to his feedback (as I always do prior to the bid) and read.....
I see he has dropped the ball this year..(and it just started).
Thanks for the heads up even though once I had read his feedback I would not have bid anyways...
Nice to see however not to purchase from his website.
