Just got back from the concert and it was wonderful. LeeAnne announced at some point that she had a friend who had driven all the way from Mio and they would play my favorite song. I loved it. Later, the couple that had set up the concert had invited LeeAnne, Hillary & Johnny for soup and pie at their home, also invited me, as well. It was wonderful and we ended up singing a bunch of old songs. Hillary is trying to work oungetting her graduate degree in Ireland this Fall. It was so good to get out.
The pretty ceiling fan arrived today and Ike is getting it put up in the kitchen area. I am going to se about getting a second one for the one that needs to be replaced in my office area as we need them to move the heat around from the pellet stoves. It is very pretty and is Energy Star rated. Getting a $280 fan for $35 including shipping is right up my alley! 
Wow Lynn, I don't know how you get such good deals always! Oh... Yes I do, it's part of how God works thru you to meet your needs. It's a gift! Isn't it wonderful to get out & have such great interaction with others? So happy for you, especially since you can't do it that often. The asst leader of my new ladies bible study is the host home for a once a month fellowship much like what you just experienced. I signed up for this today. There are other host homes, divided up into areas where we live. My " home" is just a couple minutes away. 🙂

Roxie - It is wonderful that you have found just the right church where you are at now and that it is part of the CC system. Should I live so long, when Alli graduates HS (she is 10 now), they plan on moving and are expecting us to go, as well. I told them that it had to have mountains and be warmer in the winter. I do not mind chilly, but this frozen tundra we have here.....NO. In my spare time, I have been checking out towns in SE TN at the foothills of the Smokies. One of the things on the must have list is an active CC church. 
The fan is very nice and does not make a sound. On the 19th I am going to order one or maybe two more. Am hoping they are still available.
Nothing much going on here. I do have to call Microsoft and I do not think it is going to have a happy ending. I bought Ike a Dell desktop for Christmas through nomorack.com and it said it ran Windows 7 Home Premium. When it came, it was a refurbished computer with a new monitor and all new other accessories which were all in boxes. When putting it all together and getting it set up, I did not notice any of the stickers on the computer tower itself, but did notice that the install disk said that it was specially for refurbished computers and everything worked fine.....until a few days ago. I have purchased these in the past and have never had a problem. Well, he can go online and most things work fine, except for some of his games and that it what he does most of every day, sit there and play games. Some of the online games that he likes will stop in the middle and say he has an illegal disk installed and the Big Fish games that do not even have to be online to play will not load at all. Now there is a little message at the bottom of the screen that says he has a non-genuine copy of Windows 7. When the computer arrived, there was no return address or name of the company that fulfilled this and I stupidly did not save the email from them. I looked at the computer tower and it shows the original sticker showing that it ran Vista before and was wiped clean and they used a forged copy of Win 7. So, now I am going to have to call MS and sound like an idiot.
My laptop runs 7 but was pre-installed and did not come with a disk and the only disk I actually own is XP which is no longer supported so that will not do me any good as it would be vulnerable to all sorts of viruses and spyware, which is too bad cause I liked XP.
Time to have some breakfast and then go make the call. Also PT called me last week and cancelled Thursday due to a meeting and never called back, so I have to call and schedule with them.

Sweet Carole, I read all the posts on here and yours are the most honest and endearing to me. I take nothing away from anyone who posts. After all that is going on in your life, you are still filled with humility, gracefulness and precious love. I haven't met many people like you in my life. I sincerely adore and love you. Please keep SIL Bob's family in prayer. The doc gave Bob's dad 2 days to 2 weeks and he is under hospice care and they want to go visit him. I guess Bob is pretty upset. Melanie told me part of the story last night and will call me on her way home from work. I guess a couple of years ago, they told him he had cancer and actually did some treatment but told him that he was probably not going to make it, so he sat himself in his recliner and stayed there and did nothing.....ever again. Well, it turned out that he never had cancer in the first place. So, why is he dying? Because he sat in his recliner, did nothing and his lungs got so bad that they are no longer able to be repaired. I think he is my age. His wife did everything for him so he never had to move, which is what is killing him. Nevertheless, Bob & Melanie are going to go visit him after she gets gome from work.
