It was so sad when my 99 year old Aunt Annie passed away. She and Mama were the oldest of 13 children. I feel as if I have lost my best connection to Mama. Now when I have questions about the family I have noone to go to.

Jan, when my little mom "went home ", I stood there looking at her & one thought was, "no more stories. I will miss those stories!" Later, as I went thru her things, I was looking in a recipe box marked "favorite family recipes ". As I pulled each recipe out, there were the stories, written under the recipes of the person whose recipe it was!! How happy I was! But many of them are written in our hearts. Love you Jan!

Most of the snow went south of us but I am looking forward to grass again. I have had enough of this white stuff.
Just got back from getting the cat and dog their shots up in Atlanta. I have them done at the shelter as I like to help support them as best as I am able. Got to pet many cats. Ike came along to make sure I only came back with as many as I took. 
Did not sleep too well and it must be time for a nap!

Waiting for barefoot weather. It is +8 here and forecast is in the teens for the week. Hoping weather is good tomorrow as I am planning to go to a concert at a church that it around 35 miles from here. Friends are playing.
They cancelled my PT yesterday because of a meeting. I guess I will go Monday.
This is yet another do nothing day. I have been looking for some kind of really part-time work but have not found anything.

Hi Lynn! Cute lil footies!! Been busy, GREAT bible study & communion Wed eve, wonderful ladies bible study Thurs morn & having fun with my son Todd. Today we went to Red Rock & enjoyed beautiful scenery & hiked. I haven't done that in so long!! I sure hope you get to go to the concert!!! And to PT Mon!!! ❤️

Roxie - So happy you are fitting right in. Red Rocks is so neat. Melanie & Bob are planning to move out of Michigan when Alli graduates from high school. We still have a long time to go as she is only 10. They expect us to follow them and move to the same location. Should I live this long, it will be nice. I need someplace warm but not a state on an ocean. I think SE Tennesee might be nice as I NEED to have mountains around, so somewhere at the foothills of the Smokies might be nice. They do not want to be in Nevada.
Dinner was excellent last night and we played a lot of cards. Alli & Gabe went to spend the weekend with their dad, so I went along with Melanie to the halfway point where they meet. I am sure they will have fun. Alli has not been there in quite some time because of the flea problem.
They did not get the medicine for my thigh at PT and also did not call to reschedule me. I will call Monday and make arrangements.
I get to go listen to my friends at the church this afternoon which will be fun. LeeAnne could not make the last party, so I have not seen her in awhile though we are on FB daily. They sing all types of music but this is at a Methodist church and is considered sacred music, which will include some gospel, as well. I love it all. It is a nice day with the sun shining and blue skies but is still only +12 here. It will be a nice drive for me.
Time to go do something.

Lynn, I think Tennessee sounds wonderful! My SIL always wanted to live there. Let us know how the concert went!! I took an evening walk tonight & is was beautiful! Sunset & all! There's a cute little sweet fun couple I get to talk to on my walks. They are adorable! Bill & Bert. 🙂
