Hello Everyone,
I got fitted & received my new teeth. They are very nice, fit very well. I am still slurring when I talk! I have gotten over the drooling though! It seems as though I have three times as much saliva? Having to learn to eat with dentures has created a challenge? I will get through it though.

Oh wow, please forgive me for not letting you all know I went on a vacation to see some wonderful family members who I was unable to see for a long time!! What a thrilling trip!! God's presence was felt all along!!!

Hi Everyone!
I did not want this on FB, but I am in need of prayer. While going to the orthopedic supplier to have my foot and leg casted for a splint for my foot drop so I will quit falling, I passed out so deeply that I even lost all control of innards. I guess I was out for about 25 minutes and nothing would bring me to conciousness. I awoke and found myself strapped to a gurney with an O2 mask on and someone announcing we were heading to the hospital. Ike thinks I actually quit breathing at some time and then came back on my own. He said my eyes were open but basically blank as in dead eyes.
I need prayer for the solution as to why I am passing out (I was sitting down) and also that the neurologist will be able to identify and fix whatever is causing my foot drop. I am also now underweight and need to add a few pounds. I guess when losing weight, I also lost heart muscle and they had to increase my time-release nitro by 50%.
I am vitamin deificient and have to take B12 shots for 4 weeks and 10,000 units of Vitamin D once a week for 8 weeks. I am also hyperthyroid now and that needed to come down from 200mcg to 150 mcg.
I ended up in the hospital where I worked (which was basically kitty-corner from the ortho store and no one recognized me. A few years and over 100 pounds down. One gal, while doing my EKG kept saying "You are OUR Lynn?"
I will be leaving on the 25th until November 6th to take care of my friend's mother again, as she is headed for Key West. I need to be in shape for this. She will be 84 on the 27th and Ike has to come right near there for a check up at the VA, so we will go out to lunch to celebrate her birthday. I will get her a little cake.

Congratulations on your sale. That must feel great.
I am leaving for Arizona Thursday were going by way of Las Wages to pick up my son-in-law Charles. Will spend the night and leave again Friday to go to the Rim. I am so excited. I have been building up for this for two weeks now!
I know I will get a Elk but I hope I can get a very large one. I have never done that yet.
Roy - Have a wonderful trip. Ike went mule deer hunting several years ago in South Dakota but has never been hunting for elk. We have elk around here. I like elk as it tastes more like beef. We use a lot of venison here. Good thing as the price of beef has skyrocketed and is going up again because of the laws governing the use of the antibiotics will be going into effect. This is a good thing, but the prices will go through the roof. We actually eat very little beef anymore. Mostly chicken and pork.
