Jimmy - I have a book which is in the 5th wheel, so I do not know the name of it, but it is a nice biography of the major people in the Bible. It is nice when reading and a new person arrives, to be able to go to that book, and find out what they are really like. I leave it there because I frequently have time to read and I have similar, but not as good books here.

All is well here. I have been feeling exceptionally blessed lately. It sure has been a long time. When I read our Audrey, Roger, Kathy, Mindy and Carole's FB post, it reminds me of how long we have been together. I have not heard from Ginny in some time and the email address I have for her is no longger valid. Praying things are going better for her as she had so very many troubles.
I spoke with the insurance adjuster and we should get the check for the damage to the 5th wheel later this week. We are going to put 6 new tires on it, fix what needs to be fixed, try to find something to clean the headliner, get a chip and exhaust for Ike's truck and hopefully, be able to find the same car as I have but a few years newer with a little less mileage. Mine is almost to 200,000. I have been looking around online but this car seems to be difficult to find. Hopefully, when we have the cash, one will show up. The 5th wheel will not be able to be insured through my company and, although I will check, I doubt that anyone would just insure it for a decent price.
Alli is on her trip to Washington DC with her Girl Scout troop and Gabe is spending a week or so with his friend downstate. Logan has gone to spend the summer with his mother. He was retained in the same grade. Finally. He is not stupid, just non-compliant with everything. Sad.
We had some wild storms pass through here last night and this morning but it is nice out now.

We have a pair of Red Tail Hawks nesting in one of our trees by our home. I think they will help our gopher, wood chuck and stray cat populations.

DD-Cheri is in the air headed back home. What a huge blessing her visit was! She is into raw vegan eating. She is telling me the advantages of coconut oil. Roxie and Lynn, you also use it.
It is hot here! We get up early, early and walk. The mornings are cool, beautiful, and quiet -- except for other walkers -- some with little dogs.

What's your temp there? I love the walks here too, incl peoples doggies. 🙂 on hot afternoons, I now go to the gym, down the street, & enjoy the treadmill & recumbent bike. Keeps my back stable on that bike. Still enjoying my wonderful church, too!!

We are headed out on a 4-hour journey to check out a car which is basically the 2003 version of the 1998 that I have now which just turned over 200K. This will be my third Park Avenue and I am hoping it turns out to be as nice as it looks.
Gabriel has been with us for a few days and we are dropping him off at home on our way out as he hates long car rides We will pick him up on the way home. He took us out for dinner last night. How sweet! Alli is in Washington, DC until Wednesday night and will be home sometime Thursday. She has been having a wonderful time.
