I do not know if any of you are friends on FB with our Bren, but this was her neighborhood in Tupelo, MS.  Her house sustained no damage, except a power outtage, and she did not lose even one tree on her heavily-treed lot while people on her same street lost everything.

I made a long visit at the ER yesterday.  After a CAT scan and a lumbar puncture, the doc figured that I probaably did have a brain bleed about a week ago and what I have now is a terrible sinus infection which showed clearly on the CAT scan.  There was so,e blood in all three spinal fluid samples but the second doc (there was a shift change while I was there) thought that it was most likely from the procedure itself.  They gave me some IV dilaudid and a Rx for anitbiotics for the sinus infection.  It still hurts.

It is raining and cold and damp.  My furbabies and I are headed back to bed where I have a heater and need a nap.

Lynn, WOW, God sure protected our Bren!  Thanks for the pic and info!  And for the update about you... sooooo glad you are getting help and rest!!  Going to be praying for you.

Carole, please give dear Bill my love!  If I were there, I'd come over there and irritate him & make him laugh.  🙂

I am so sorry about your health problems. Hugh is either in his lift chair or his wheelchair. My daughter and her 2 sons have been with us since last September. Besides my back, I have ulcers and gastritis. God go with you.

Dawn~~~~~thank you for the concern for prayers  that you sent up for me.  I do pray for those who are ill in their bodies, pain in the knees, back pain & poor   [bone density ]  I had my screening last week and the results were   [I had soft bone density]  Please send a prayer up in my name  "Sweets"

Dear ones, I have been reflecting on all of the medical & emotional issues we all go thru. I believe God wants to encourage us all today, that this is a fallen world & not our home, that we are just passing thru, and that He works everything in our lives for good. We may not feel like it, it may not look like it & we certainly don't always understand if or believe it, but it is still true. Some how, in His loving & divine way, He will make us to understand it & agree that His ways are definitely higher than our ways, & we will praise & thank Him for it & agree that it has been worth it.... for eternal value. I pray we never forget that He has promised to be with us where ever we go. He is with us, in us and for us!!! His loving kindness is better than life. His love and faithfulness never fail. What an awesome Daddy Father we have!!!
