Carole, have you watched the movie "42"? Excellent movie about Jackie Robinson!! Hollywood left out most of the beautiful Christian part, but if you google the real life story, it will have even more meaning. 🙂

Happy Sunday! We had a delightful service today -- the young people lead singing, took the offering, and one young man preached! It is so encouraging to see young people that love Jesus.

Darleen and Evie left early this morning on their travel adventure. Both are seniors and widows.

Good morning!

I wish I was in the desert now!

We are in monsoon season here and are still using the pellet stoves.  It has been so cold here.  There are plants in bloom in southern MI but not up here.  We still have piles of snow!  And, snow is still in the forecast!

Nothing much has been going on here and do not have anything planned.

HAPPY DAY! Today was the last day of radiation. Tomorrow, I will have a tooth pulled.

Carole, prayers continue for Darlene & Evie. How sweet that they have each other at this time in their lives! Prayers for Sheryl too. There is no Christian version of "42". You have to google the story and read it to understand that part more. Hollywood left most of it out. But the movie is awesome! I saw God's handprints all over it, so I googled "was Jackie Robinson a Christian?" And the stories were beautiful. So very happy for you to have your last day of radiation!!!

Good morning!

Keeping all prayer requests.

Spring is not coming to Michigan.  We got three inches of white, fluffy stuff again.  Slick roads and I am happy I have nowhere to go.

This is getting a bit ridiculous.

It is that special week yet again.  We remember what Jesus did for us.  In doing this, we remember that this is not the end, only a path on our way home.  As we travel this road, try to be kind.

PLEASE say a prayer for Mitch! He is back in the hospital yet again. It looks like no Cancer this time but a very bad case of C Diff. He was almost bleeding to death and refused to go to the hospital. He's been it the hospital a total of 6 weeks in the last 3 months. The C Diff was caused by the Chemo. Prayers and Blessings for you all!

Oh Jan, isn't God just amazing to do such beautiful things thru us to each other?!! Thank you for such great & loving encouragement that lifted me way up!! I love you so much too!!

Lynn, thank you for such a beautiful reminder!! Hey, I heard the most beautiful "episode" by our precious Ray Vander Laan called "Be There with Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemene"! WOW!!!!!!!!!! If you go to Focus on the Family website & click on the part that gives that title & also says "Free Episode", it will touch your heart deeply!!! I am ever grateful that you introduced me to that man!!! Have a Kleenex with you... it's about a half hour, and it will change you somewhere in your heart!!!
