1. Who do you ask for help when in need?
2. Who do you ask for help when you are down trodden and sad?
3. Who do you ask for help when a loved one is ill?
4. Who do you as for forgiveness when you have done wrong?
5. Who should you talk to when you don't need to ask for anything?
If you answered these five questions correctly with all your heart and soul
you will be blessed beyond compare!

Our newest (first boy) grandbaby was born today.
They had to do an emergency C section though. He temp got up to almost 102 and the baby's heartbeat was to fast. BUT all is well with the two of them and I will go see them tomorrow.
I couldn't today because we had our family Christmas gathering so I had to stay and help cook but Tammy got to see him.
WOW our 4th grandbaby and I am only 44 LOL

Good morning everyone!
We all had a wonderful time at the party yesterday. This pic was Saturday night during the dancing. I am on the loveseat at the far end with Marilyn, Lynne Ellen's mom, who lives next door. On her walker is the cajon drum that Ike made for her. She was very happy with it She looks great for just having major cancer surgery and I just love her. She is 83 and reminds me of the grandma I never had. Alli & Gabe were off playing fooseball.
Keeping all prayer requests.
Roy - So sorry for the Jenson family. It is sad to lose those that go before what we consider to be their time. But, at least we can be comforted by knowing that it was actually God's timing and that he is now home. We grieve here for those we lose, and it tells us in Ecclesiates that there is a time for everything, including a time to mourn but we then can celebrate what life was here.
Roxie - I second the chicken soup motion. I make a lot of homemade chicken noodle soup and it has been called the Jewish penicillin for years and they did a study on it awhile back and found that it did help. The carrots, celery and onion, along with the chicken and broth are very nourishing, especially when you are not feeling up-to-par.
Ike had to leave around 6 this morning to go back downstate to see the rheumatologist for a regular scheduled visit for bloodwork and a check-up. Alli left her jacket at the party, which is near the hospital, so he is going to stop and pick it up. It was snowing when he left but it was the fluffy stuff so the roads should be good.
I am going to write down all the presents we have here so far and start wrapping them. We had plenty of extra paper and I bought tape the other day. I will have to wrap again after we go down the day after Christmas to celebrate with Lisa as we will be getting the rest of the presents then.
The grandchildren LOVE Legos but they have been getting more and more expensive for less and less. Melanie found a great big Rubbermaid bin full of all sorts of them on CL for around $60 and then on the local online ad she found a lady that had 5 quart ice cream buckets full for $10 apiece. I bought 6 (3 each for the boys as I am having hard time buying for them and already have a lot for Alli) and Melanie bought 2 for Alli. The lady gave her the 8 buckets for $75, so that was an excellent deal. ![]()
Time to get moving.
Have a most beautiful day! ![]()

Good morning everyone!
I am kind of worried about Roger. I have not heard from him in some time. He has also not posted on FB either. Please keep him in your prayers. He is such a nice guy but he is in his 80s and has had some serious health issues. He has been to my place a few times.
Ike had to out this morning and brought me home a couple of MickeyD's breakfast burritos which was nice. I do not like their food with the exception of these every once in awhile. As I cannot really eat two, Cami is helping me.
It is 7 degrees here and that bone-chilling cold. Glad that both pellet stoves are blazing away. Our regular pellet guy is having problems getting them as something happened at the plant. I sure hope it gets fixed soon as I will be needing more soon and he delivers a ton at a time and stacks the 40# bags nicely in the garage.
Ike and I wrapped all of the gifts we had here yesterday, except I forgot that I had a few hanging in the 'gift closet'. We will wrap again when we go shopping with Lisa the day after Christmas. Nice to have that out of the way.
I have the fiber-optic trees that change color in various versions, all around the house and I have a tree that is up all year that has a real tree trunk (with no bark on the bottom thanks to various cats that is always full of feathered birds. That is taller than I am and is lit with clear lights that twinkle (every 5th light blinks slowly) so it looks nice. All of the fiber-optic trees I had ever gotten have a light in the bottom and a plastic disc with different colors that revolves slowly, changing the colors on the trees. The two new ones from after-Christmas last year are different and have a series of little lights in different colors that flash on and off. They are in the living room where I generally am not as those flashing on and off like that would drive me nuts! My favorite is the one in my room. It is lush and has soft long-needled branches and is white. The way in which it changes colors is absolutely gorgeous and I hope it sstays working for a very long time. My BIL also loves it and says he wants to snag it.
While gettinfg the presents out to wrap, did I not find yet another half box of clothes that fit me now! I must have hit a bunch of clearance racks and garage sales at one time that I completely forgot about. This discovery gave me a bunch of nice tops and two pairs of leggings. I have organized my slacks by color and my closet in that section looks like a rainbow! I have a bunch of black ones but I wear them a lot. I also separated the tops in printed and solid and moved what I consider t-shirts to another section. I have way too many clothes but I spend very little so I do not feel guilty at all. When I dropped all that weight, a bunch went to the consignment shop, giving me money to get more in the right size and the rest went to daughter, Lisa, who was really happy. I also shared a lot of nice costume jewelry with her. She is the one that looks like me and told me that not only is she turning into her mother, she now gets up and puts on my clothes and jewelry and make-up that I have gotten her. I thought that was funny.
Time to go back and snuggle under the covers an watch a little TV.
Have a beautiful day! ![]()
