Good morning everyone!
Keeping all prayer requests.
Glad to hear everyone seems to be doing well.
Just starting getting ready to go for an overnight trip to our friends' musical Christmas party. I still have a lot to do, including making a big pot of 'beer deer' with noodles. It also has lots of baby bella, white and a ton of morel mushrooms in it and it delicious. This is what I make every year. Gabriel spent the night and Melanie will be bringing Alli over a little later. I am going to try to get out of here by 11am, but will probably not make it. It is a 3-hour-drive and I hope the roads will be okay. They are fine here, but south of us got hit a lot harder than we did.
I now have all of my Christmas decorating done and am happy to have that out of the way. I have cut way back but the house still has plenty of lights and looks festive. Melanie's place looks like mine used to as she has all of my collections of angels, Santa's and snow people. When Lisa ever gets settled, she will have to split them up so she can have her share but by that time, there will be more as we will add to the collections each year.
Melanie got all the packages that we ordered from Kohl's and Bob loaded them in my car yesterday. Monday I will start wrapping what I have here. The rest will be bought when we do our annual day after Christmas shopping.
One of the common side effects from gastric bypass surgery is hair loss around the 4-6 month mark. Seeing as I passed that point and am 9 months out, I thought I avoided it. NO!!!!! I noticed that my already thin hair was falling out in clumps a couple of weeks ago and was doing my best to cover it. Yesterday, Melanie informaed me that I now have a big bald spot on the back of my head! She actually took pics to show me and it is awful. I know they make this fiber stuff the color of your hair that your can put by the roots to hide it but, here I am, going to my big party of the season, looking like a chemo patient! I guess the positive side is that I am not a chemo patient. I cannot geto Sally's to get this stuff till the 18th. Ack! ![]()
Time to get moving.
Have a most beautiful weekend! ![]()

Hello Everyone,
Please pray for the family of Andrew Jensen. He had a brain hemoridge a few days ago and surcome to it. He was 44 years old. His 96 year old father has now lost two sons and is not taking it well. The hospital notified the family that the organs he donated has saved five other lives.
May God bless them

Roxie,
I do not have a cold but I have just made a large pot of homemade Chicken Noodle Soup. My mother taught me this recipe years ago. When I was younger and times were hard I would make a pot of this and eat it for days. It was cheap and very good and good for me nutritionally.
Anyway I wish I could give you a bowl full it sure helps with a cold or flu.
