Roxie -- Thank you for your prayers for Jason's family and friends.
Blessings on your moving efforts. May God guide your way.
Lynn -- Prayers continue for your hunter and the stove needs.
Diane -- Prayers for you and your family in the winter's chill.
Roy -- I'm sorry that you couldn't visit. I know what it is like when traveling -- not always able to do all the things hoped for.
It was so nice to hear from you. May you get the R&R necessary.

Roxie - You will find that the CC churches out there actually support each other, including Henderson. Unfortunately, Lone Mountain, which is my favorite, is in North Las Vegas and the farthest from Henderson. Pastor Jimmy is great, though. I also love their worship team. You can hear both of them online. The worship team at SV is okay but the lead singer is the son of the team's leader and he gets old, fast. I looked online at the Henderson one and they livestream, as well, so maybe I will check them out on Sunday. I miss a local church, but there is none that really is a good fit for me. There is one about 1/2 drive that I like, but all of their activities woul be much further away and that road is horrible in the winter. Online, for me, works well, although I do miss the get-togethers. Ike would go to church but the one I attended (which is the only one with contemporary music and non-liturgical), he did not like the pastor and would not go.
I have been praying for a solution and perhaps with my health issues, online is what I am supposed to be doing. There is one newer, smaller church that was started by the gal (who is a minister) who owns the consignment shop, which is itself a local ministry but it is comprised of a group of old people, like myself. Maybe I will try it. She keeps asking me.
Today is opening day of deer season and Bob has gotten two deer. We have not heard from anyone else yet, but the phone signal is really weak in the forest and Ike cannot text.
Have a beautiful day! ![]()

Carole- Praying for Jan and Raymond.
My computer crashed and I can't believe how I depended on it for so much info.
I think about all of you often and pray you are doing well.
My daughter and 2 grandsons are living with us for a while. It's culture shock and joy mixed together.
When I get my computer back I hope to catch up on what everyone is doing!
Much love, Jan

Jan -- What a blessing to hear from you! Prayers for the family together -- certainly a challenge and a blessing! Thank you for your prayers for Raymond and Jan.
Roxie -- Delighted to hear that the moving is going well! I can get overwhelmed at times, too. Jesus is good to keep us centered in Him.
Roy -- Prayers for you and the tasks to be accomplished.
Lynn -- I'm glad you were able to attend church in Nevada and are able to attend on-line. How wonderful it would be to find a church close to your home! Good to hear about Ike getting the deer.

Good afternoon everyone!
Keeping all prayer requests.
It was 58 yesterday and it is now 34 and was snowing and blowing when I went to the road to get my mail and bring in the trash can. We had no wind damage here but am feeling so bad for those that had the tornadoes. To lose everything just before the holidays is so sad. I have had two house fires where everything was lost, except what was in the garage. I founds that 'stuff' really means nothing. My cat died in the first fire (I was not home but my first husband was) and that really hurt. Pets and people are really the only things that matter.
We had our power on and off last night so I filled the tub with water, put extra in the **bleep** and got the oil lamps together and called Ike to see where there was a lighter. The power stayed on an I did not need to use them, but better safe than sorry. Looks like this week is going to be a lot colder than last week.
Today is a PT day and I know it will feel so good. This treatment they use on my leg really makes a difference. The hot packs they use do not hurt either. I am also doing some exercises there to help the bat wings I have developed but exercise can only do so much. Another 18# and I will be at my goal weight.

Lynn -- I'm glad you did not have a power outage; although, it is always good to prepare, just in case. Congratulations on your weight loss. I have bat wings, also. I do exercise.
Roxie -- You must be getting excited for your move! Always some adjustments needed in a new locality. Prayers continue.
Jan -- Prayers for your computer to be up and running.

Another chilly day here but at least the sun is out and it is not raining.
Have you read on FB that our Kathy is now a grandma? Just thought I would pass it on if you are not on her list. I still remember Cody and Cameron as two kids in that vintage pic she posted many years ago.
Have a most beautiful one! ![]()

Kathy -- Congratulations on the adorable granddaughter! You have been a faithful, hard-working Mom to your two boys -- no easy task for a single mother.
Roxie -- Keep us posted on the move. I remember when we left our California church friends -- so difficult. However, I rejoiced at new ministry opportunities and loving new friends in Colorado.
Lynn -- Keep well. Hope you can post a before and after picture.
