Everything is okay here and am praying for requests.
They did the CT scan yesterday of an abdominal lump (in connection with the bypass surgery) and we will see what it is. I do not think it is anything serious, but does cause pain if I sit down or get up in a certain way.
I am down 30# and counting. Loose, old skin is icky. I will look like a sharpei by the time I get to my goal weight.
I am back in PT 3 days a week trying to get some strength in my left leg which has been painful and not working properly since the hip replacement two years ago. Where they cut my femur, my body has overgrown a mass of extra bone on the outside. This has caused bursitis in that area and they are treating that as well, but it will never go away. They told me that my goal is being able to stand or walk for longer periods and that I might never be able to ride my bike. 😞 I cannot ride the upright stationary bikes that they have at the PT place, only the recumbent ones.
Prayers for Mindy that she is free of any cancer.

Hoping everyone had a most wonderful Mother's Day! Ike & Melanie got me this beautiful orchid that I have been admiring. It is actually much deeper and almost glows. When I went to the website to see how to care for this (as I have killed two Lucky Bamboo plants, which I thought were murder-proof), I discovered that when it reflowers, thet blooms will be fuschia instead of the glowing blue. Oh well! It is beautiful.
