Hello ,praying that all goes well with nancys surgery,
You can believe the bible is true,that jesus died for your sins;
that jesus can save you; that there is a hell;but, if you put off
getting saved through christ,you are lost! you can have christian parents,
go to church, say your prayers, be a church member,be morally clean and honest,
be sincere, but if you neglect christ and do not have him as your personal saviour,
you will be eternally lost.
And I hope god blesses us all
I have been praying for a solution to a problem and god answered my prayers
and a check came in the mail not from a benefactor but it was a surprise
because it was for the exact amount I needed and needless to say I was dumfounded.
Thank you lord.

Carole, praying for Nancy's successful surgery and continued healing by the Hand of God.
Deb, please continue to trust in the Lord. He will see you through. I have a couple of very serious and worrisome events going on in my life right now. There is only one PRT member who knows, helps me and prays for me. They will never really know how much they mean to me.The monetary part still looms but I have faith it will all work out some way.

Lynne and Deb, I think the world is getting nuttier, there are unbelievable wrongs being comitted and in my opinion- never have we needed the hand and word of God more in our lives. I think we do go on autopilot sometimes at the wrong times because we simply can't bear what we see and hear in front of our eyes and ears. I don't believe it is because we lack empathy.

Jan - What I meant by going on autopilot, was that we pray automatically for these situations without coming here to ask anyone else to pray. These are events everyone has known about, not a personal situation. This was in response to Diane's thought that she was surprised that no one on the PRT had asked for prayer for these tragedies.
Also, you have more than one person praying for you. Just thought I would let you know.
Everything will work out in our lives as God has intended it. When we pray, we pray God's will and He will see us through. We were never promised and easy road, rather a beautiful place when we reach the end of our journey here.

Tell Mother I'll Be There
Charles M. Fillmore, 1898
When I was but a little child, how well I recollect
How I would grieve my mother with my folly and neglect;
And now that she has gone to Heav’n I miss her tender care:
O Savior, tell my mother I’ll be there!
Refrain:
Tell mother I’ll be there, in answer to her prayer;
This message, blessed Savior, to her bear!
Tell mother I’ll be there, Heav’n’s joys with her to share;
Yes, tell my darling mother I’ll be there.
Though I was often wayward, she was always kind and good;
So patient, gentle, loving when I acted rough and rude;
My childhood griefs and trials she would gladly with me share:
O Savior, tell my mother I’ll be there!
When I became a prodigal, and left the old rooftree,
She almost broke her loving heart in mourning after me;
And day and night she prayed to God to keep me in His care:
O Savior, tell my mother I’ll be there!
One day a message came to me, it bade me quickly come
If I would see my mother ere the Savior took her home;
I promised her, before she died, for heaven to prepare:
O Savior, tell my mother I’ll be there!

Roger -- Thank you for sharing the plan of salvation. The Lord also laid on my heart about salvation. You spoke it clearly.
Praise God for answered prayer.
I would like to shout to the world that God blesses a THANKFUL heart. We should be thankful for every blessing. Look around at the blessings we have.
Audrey -- I love that you prayer for our heartaches in the United States! I tell everyone that we are an international prayer request thread.

Jan -- Prayers continue for you and your family. God is working.
Diane -- Prayers for you. I appreciate your faithfulness.
Lynn -- Tulips are Bill's favorite flower.
Deb -- Prayers for you.
Roxie -- Good to see you whenever you have opportunity to join us.

When I first had a vision for a Prayer Request Thread, I thought it would be a place where people could bring their prayer requests. I knew we would have differences in backgrounds, religious training, and places where we lived. Prayer was the unifier.
We may be limited on times when we can post -- this is okay.
Let's not dwell on our differences -- instead dwell on the positive impact of prayer one for another.
We all have prayer needs whether it be illness, family challenges, fiances, and wisdom.
Pray one for another.

PRAYER UPDATE:
The biopsy taken on my hip bone showed that the cancer metastasized to some of my bones.
The oncologist was amazed that I have excellent blood pressure, no cancer shown in the blood, no pain, no symptoms, no weight loss, and feel wonderful!
God has given me complete peace!
Thank you each for your prayers.

Our moment in time,
Each of us is put here on earth to learn, share, love, appreciate and give of ourselves. None of us knows when this fantastic experience will end. As at the Boston Marathon It can be taken away at any moment.
Perhaps this is God’s way of telling us that we must make the most out of every single day. 'So I would like you all to make me a promise. From now on, every day take the time to find something beautiful to notice.
It doesn't have to just be something you see, it could be a scent, perhaps of freshly baked bread wafting out of someone's house, or it could be the sound of the breeze slightly rustling the leaves in the trees, or the way the morning light catches one view as the sun starts rising. Please look for these things, things you find beautiful and cherish them. For, although it may sound trite to some, these things are the "stuff" of life. The little things we are put here on earth to enjoy. The things we often take for granted.
Remember to appreciate all of those things that sometimes we all overlook. Take notice of something special you see anytime. Go barefoot. Or take a walk at sunset. Stop off on the way home tonight or just get out of the house to get a double dip ice cream cone or anything you just really enjoy.
As we get older, it is not the things we did that we often regret, but the things we didn't do.
Love to All
Roy

Roy -- Thank you for posting that. Bill and I have been reminding each other to do the work of the Lord while we have time; to enjoy our friends and relatives while they are near; to not get hung up on trivialities.
I have an express I use ... "1,000 years from now what difference will it make."
