Giving
Give to those who are having trouble, to those whose thoughts are confused, something of your sympathy, your prayers, your time, your love, your thought, your self. Then give of your own confidence, as you have had it given to you by the grace of God. Give of yourself and of your loving sympathy. Give your best to those who need it and will accept it. Give according to need, never according to desires. Remember that the giving of advice can never take the place of giving of your self.
Isaiah 41:18
I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the middle of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.

Carole- You are most welcome. I hope you and Bill are doing well.
Roy- As a former teacher, that was pathetic. What is being taught???
Thank you for the Giving post and the scripture. That ushers in the true meaning of one aspect of Christmas. Of course, it applies to every day most of all.
God bless all who post or just read.

Hubby is off to his appointment with the neurosurgeon. Hopefully will get more information.

The neurosurgeon has said no surgery at this time unless the situation gets worse and he starts getting paralyzed. He has a prescription for steroids and one for physical therapy.

Mary, Did You Know?
One of my favorites.
Did You Know" "Mary Did You Know"
[Originally written by Mark Lowry and Buddy Greene]
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy would one day walk on water?
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy would save our sons and daughters?
Did you know
that your Baby Boy has come to make you new?
This Child that you delivered will soon deliver you.
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy will give sight to a blind man?
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy will calm the storm with His hand?
Did you know
that your Baby Boy has walked where angels trod?
When you kiss your little Baby you kissed the face of God?
Mary did you know.. Ooo Ooo Ooo
The blind will see.
The deaf will hear.
The dead will live again.
The lame will leap.
The dumb will speak
The praises of The Lamb.
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy is Lord of all creation?
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy would one day rule the nations?
Did you know
that your Baby Boy is heaven's perfect Lamb?
The sleeping Child you're holding is the Great, I Am.

Lonely
We all have days when we feel lonely. Every move we make has an effect that touches all the people around us. On an even more subtle level, when we share space with another person, we often pick up on their energy, feeling how they feel and attuning to them, whether we mean to or not. This is what we mean when we say a mood or a feeling is contagious. We cannot help but be part of the realities of the people around us because we take form from the same energetic force, and this force unifies all life. This force is the light that encourage us to move toward, and it is the light we will dissolve into when we move beyond our individual egos.
If loneliness is a temporary condition based on an incomplete understanding of what we are made of, we can think of its presence as a catalyst for exploring our ideas about reality. We can respond by testing the boundaries we believe separate us from the life within and all around us. If we test them, we will discover that they are not so solid after all and that we can never really be alone.
Jesus has promised that.

Carole and Roy, Thank you for your posts.
Dlane, Hoping for the best for your husband.
God Bless each of you. Let His Love shine down upon you.
I am asking for prayer for our financial burden to lessen. We are doing all that we can do. That is the only way I know how to express my request.I pray daily for situations to better. What is so difficult is the lack of jobs around here. Our grandson is doing an outstanding job where he works. Thank you!!
God IS always good. God Is always great.

The neurosurgeon has advised us that the surgery is dangerous and will not be done unless it is absolutely necessary (like the possibility of hubby being paraylized). Looks like I'll be getting my surgery before hubby does. Oh well - at least our Christmas holiday is safe. I do apologize for rambling on.

Jan -- Prayers for your financial burden to be lifted. Remember, to be thankful for each bill you can pay.
Roy -- Christmas can be a lonely time. Yet, I think of my mom and brother who passed away last year -- I know they are having the best Christmas ever!! In God's time, I will join them. In the meantime, I want to live for Jesus!!
Diane -- Thank you for the update on your husband and yourself. May God give wisdom to the doctors and medical staff.

Carole- Thank you. What a difference a day makes. All is better. I must keep in mind- God's time is not my time.
I understand your feelings about loved ones who have gone before us. Christmas is always a reminder because it usually involves family members' celebration of Christ's birth. I miss my family and will continue to until we are reunited in Christ. Just what I believe.
Diane- My prayers for you and your husband.
Roy - Thank you for all the inspiritional posts you willingly share.
Lynn- I miss you so much. I hope you and yours are all doing well. We need beauty on here!!! I am still battling posting gifs. Lost brain cells????

Remember the Kaleidoscope when we were kids?
This is really incredible ! How amazing that someone could not only create this, but make it to change when you move your mouse/cursor...or you can just sit back and let it change by itself. Either way it is awesome.
IT IS TRULY AMAZING.
Be sure to run your mouse over the screen slowly. Go to the center point, all the corners and along the edge for different effects.
