Roy - So sorry for your loss. Is this the sister that was at death's door in CA a few years ago?
The trees are just beautiful everywhere around here. I love this season, but then comes my dreaded winter. I wish I could hibernate through it like the bears. I was hoping that at this stage of my life that I would be able to be a 'snowbird' and spend winter where it is warm. I guess it was not meant to be.
I am hoping that CL will magically have a carpet cleaner that I want and can afford on Wednesday when I get my check. My carpets are disgusting, especially in my office, where 1/2 is nice and clean and the rest is just gross. Ack!
Not sure if I posted this but after me doc appointment on Thursday, where he gave me a shot of solumedrol (a steroid), I went to the desk to make an appointment for November and I passed out. Sugar was down to 40, BP was 60 over something and 02 sats were 70. After a tube of yucky glucose gel (I am not diabetic), some 02 and whatever, they AMBULANCED me next door to the hospital for tests and IV fluids to bring up my BP. This is getting old - FAST. I have had more trips in an ambulance this year than in my entire life. Thank God for my BC/BS Medigap plan I have! 
I feel fine now, but then again, I was fine just before I wasn't. Luckily, this happened at the right place as I was getting ready to drive to K-Mart. They called Ike and he and Melanie showed up and he drove me back after getting something to eat and going to K-Mart.
Nothing on schedule today except we will be going to Melanie's for dinner and cards tonight. He has to go back to Traverse City Sunday night for the week for work. It sure is nice that we have the big 5th wheel. He found a nice campground right near his work site and has it to live in throughout the week. I am happy that it has gotten a lot of use this year. Better than it just sitting.

Yes, There were three of us. I had one brother and one sister. The last time they put her on a resperatior this time when they wanted to put her on life support she refused it! They said she would last a few hours and she lasted almost two days. It was her call.
I do have concern for her son. After the California incident she went to Massachusetts to be With/around him. He was her only child.

Roy - When your sister was ill in CA, I remember God speaking loudly to me to tell you to go there right away. You followed God's word and that gave her the extra time with her son. Perhaps that was the reason that it was not her time then. Praying for her son for comfort. I have tied up loose ends in my life as we just never know and I did not want to leave a couple of things unfinished.
Our country is in one sorry shape. Not because of any single person, but because control kind of slipped away from 'We, the people'. Somehow, we have to get back to where we began. Prayer is a good start.

Nothing exciting here. Ike is going to spend the night at Melanie's, so she can take Bob back to the camper and spend the night. Dinner last night was wonderful. Venison steaks with all the goodies. Mmm!
I am going to try to get my Halloween stuff put out.

There is no mention of America in Scripture. This has perplexed me for a long time since the U.S. has been a world power for over 230 years. The North, South and East are spoken of in the End Times Scriptures but not the West. There is no West! I asked God the question and This is the answer I received. We are not guilty of being like Babylon. We are more like Sodom and Gomorrah. Their story starts in Genesis chapter 18.
In the past Israel has turned to Egypt for help when in distress. Now it is the U.S. they turn to for help. God is taking out all their props in order to get them to turn to HIM as their help in time of great trouble. We (America) must decrease that HE (God) may increase. Israel has already lost Egypt as an ally since Mubarek was deposed. Now the U.S. is taken out of the picture due to our weak leadership in the White House.
I doubt the church will be here for much longer. I believe Obama won by default! After that God judged the American continent just as He once judged Sodom and Gomorrah and for the same reasons. Murder of the innocent. Over 40 million babies have been slaughtered. Homosexuality. Several states have already legalized homosexual marriage. Lawlessness. Not hard to figure out. Read today's headlines or watch the TV news. Turning against Israel. God blesses those who bless Israel and curses those who curse them. Gen. 12.
From what God did to Sodom and Gomorrah we can surmise we will get the same judgment. Perhaps it will be the eruption of the super volcano at Yellow Stone park or nuclear attack, but we will end in fire and brimstone as they once did. Hence no mention of American in Scripture because we will no longer exist as a nation. This has made me very sad. I think of all those men and women who have given their lives for this nation and are doing so even now. Our military will be decimated because many of them are believers and will be gone.
Anyone who hasn't accepted Christ as Savior need to think about their eternal future now before it is too late and they are left to face the hell on earth that will soon be upon us.
I wish to thank everyone for their condolences. My concern now is for Mike it has not completely hit him yet but when it does I hope he will be ok. Please extra prayers for him.

Adrian sweetheart, God warned us that the world will hate us. I truly believe the scriptures teach that we are not battling flesh and blood but principalities, powers, rulers of darkness & spiritual wickedness. Spiritual warfare cannot be seen or understood, but we know the battle is fought in the spiritual realm with spiritual weapons.

Just as in one of Jesus's sentences. This is when Jesus preached it at Capernaum and stopped in the middle of the sentence.
So, too, there are two big wars to come, not just one. Many lump together the Gog/Magog war in Ezekiel 38 and 39 and Armageddon.
The first is the Russian army led Islamic coalition that is demolished except for 1/6th of them. The 1/6th survivors probably go home and say, “The God of MOSES IS God!”
You can see this Russian led Islamic coalition gathering right now! Please note that Egypt and Turkey will not be among those that march on Israel in this first Gog/Magog war which happens AT THE BEGINNING of the Tribulation.
The Antichrist comes to power immediately after that war. He offers “peace” to a terrified world with his peace treaty with Israel. He then establishes himself as god so the nations will follow him into that final war. Satanic strategy is in place.
Egypt is the king of the South and Turkey the king of the North as Russia has had her armies demolished in the Gog\Magog war.
Armageddon happens 7 years later. This is when ALL nations are represented except for those individuals who believe in Jesus to the end or those who just refuse the mark. ALL of this army is destroyed.
In Daniel the two iron legs represent the two divisions of the Roman Empire, one Islamic and one European. It takes discernment to see that even one sentence can be speaking of two events spanning 7 to thousands of years.
