UPDATES:

My daughter-in-love’s mom, Donna, who is on hospice, is not doing well at all. Please continue to pray for her sweet passing into eternity, and for the comfort and strength for the family.

I feel like my ear infection is not all gone, so I go in tomorrow morning to be rechecked and hopefully be referred to a specialist, an ENT.

What did the doctor tell you about the ear infection?  These infections can be so stubborn.  Hubby's cardiologist took him off Plavix and has him taking 325 mg of aspirin.  He then gave him a discount card for the Renexa.  More about the VA visit, hubby was also told that the MRIs he has could not be entered into the VA computer system.  It has to be their MRIs.  Regarding the possible spine surgery, he was told he could continue on with his current doctors (which means he would have to continue with the COBRA payments) or he could go through the VA system which could take a longer time (maybe up to a year) for a decision to be made.  He can't even consider going back to work until the proiblem is fixed.  There is also a co-pay of up to $1,000 for the hospitalization (which we can't afford).  Hubby is not very impressed with the VA right now.

I would like to request your prayers for a friend named Hope. She had a huge tumor removed a couple of days ago along with her ovaries. I understand that one of her ovaries was cancerous. She goes back in another week or so to have her uterus and  lymph glands removed as well. Apparently this tumor has been growing for a number of years was the size of a soccer ball.

So please take time to say a prayer for my friend Hope for her complete recovery and for her salvation. I also asked for prayers on the Bible thread.

Diane -- Prayers for your husband to get good medical care. Bill and I are finding quite a difference between doctors, clinics, and hospitals. Prayers that God will guide you in these decisions.

Bill's cataract surgery went well today. 

His eyebrow surgery will be next Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.

Update on Katie:

The court hearing has been moved to next week.

Please continue to pray for 11-year old Katie, a Christian, in an unsafe home environment.

Diane, my doctor has been trying stronger antibiotics, and with the 3rd one, she said if it didn’t do it she’d refer me to a specialist. So I went to my doctor yesterday, and she said it looked a lot better, but that it still looked odd... not healthy like the other ear, so I got my referral and I go in Wednesday to see a head and neck doctor. Prayers continue for you and hubby, as you keep taking steps forward, trusting in our God and His promises and faithfulness.

Sally, I have been praying for hope... thanks for bringing this to our attention. We will lift her up to our mighty God! We want to see her in heaven with us for all eternity!  And God wants to see her there even more than we do!  🙂

Carole, thanks for the update on Bill. Thank You God for taking good care of our Bill!! Prayers for his healing and for the surgery on Tuesday @ 10:30. Continuing to pray for dear little sweet Katie!!!

PRAYERS PLEASE:

For today, as my roommate and I eat and have fun with a whole group of neighbors.  Most need Jesus, so please pray God's light shines right thru us to these dear people.  

Also prayers for Saturday, as I go see a huge group of my high school friends at a camp ground.  Same request, that He shines thru me and the other Christians to the unbelievers, and whatever else God lays on your hearts to pray.

PRAISE REPORT:

I get to be a caregiver to my neighbor tomorrow, very light duty, and she is a dear heart!!  I thank God for opening up this opportunity to be a standby caregiver to her for their regular caregiver!!!
